Start-up and Potential MSMEs Learns Entrepreneurship and E-commerce

San Luis, Aurora – Thirty-Eight (38) newly developed and would-be entrepreneurs learned entrepreneurship and e-commerce in Entrepreneurial Awareness Seminar and How to Start a Business cum E-commerce at Negosyo Center San Luis, Poblacion 01, San Luis, Aurora on March 16, 2022.  

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Aurora Provincial Office initiated the activity through Negosyo Center San Luis to encourage and capacitate local start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs in different business aspects.  

Aside from understanding the basics of doing business, participants also learned various programs and services provided by DTI, such as Small Medium Enterprises Roving Academy (SMERA) training, One Town One Product (OTOP) Next Generation, Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), Shared Service Facilities (SSF), and Negosyo Center services among others.  

The activity also focuses on providing a wide range of ideas and opportunities in e-commerce and digitalization to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Jester Leander of Orderun Delivery Services served as the resource person in promoting online applications and various e-commerce platforms and strategies for creating a strong online presence. 

According to Leander, “E-commerce will provide MSMEs access to a much larger audience. With this, your online presence makes it easier for you to market and sell your products easily and efficiently, which can lead to the success of your business”. 

DTI Aurora Provincial Director Aldrin Veneracion showed support to MSMEs by encouraging them to grab and maximize all the opportunities offered by the local and national offices to develop their businesses.
