San Luis, Aurora – Negosyo Center San Luis empowered Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through SME Roving Academy on E-commerce and Digital Marketing cum Financing Forum at Negosyo Center San Luis, Aurora on April 19, 2022.
According to DTI Aurora Provincial Director Aldrin Veneracion, the activity aims to raise MSMEs’ awareness of the various technology tools, online applications, and platforms that are now available to help them keep up with the new normal, as well as greening MSMEs' finance by providing more resilient and sustainable funds through credit financing.
Jester Leander of Orderun Delivery Services shared his knowledge as the resource person by spurring innovation and promoting online presence through the most commonly used online applications such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tik-Tok. Another app, Canva, was introduced that can be used to create digital promotions for social media. MSMEs were also encouraged to use e-wallet applications such as Gcash for online payments and other transactions. "Through business digitalization, these fundamental applications and platforms will assist MSMEs in meeting the challenges of the new normal," said Leander.
Furthermore, financing institutions were gathered in the activity to link MSMEs with different loan programs and financing facilities of various Micro Financing Institutions (MFIs), such as Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc. (ASKI), ASA Philippines Foundation Inc. and Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.)
Thirty (30) MSMEs from San Luis, Aurora, participated in the said event.
