In line with the COVID-19 global pandemic crisis, Fablab Siquijor mobilized and took the initiative to address the growing demand of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) of the country.

With the help of DTI, volunteers, and donations received, Fablab Siquijor has produced a total of 2,031 PPEs. The manufactured PPEs were distributed all throughout the province to Rural Health Units, Hospitals, Inter-Agency Task Force, Local Government Units, Banks, Private Entities, and other frontliners.

The presence of Fablab in Siquijor not only helped the local MSMEs and local government units but has also greatly contributed in mitigating the spread of the virus in the Province hence making it COVID-19 Free.
