Ms. Maria Riza Sanchez, a passionate baker from San Andres, Catanduanes decided to pursue her dream of opening a bakery with Php1,000 as starting capital. With a sprinkle of determination and a dash of creativity, Cakes by Rizzy was born year 2019.
Ms, Rizzy started small, baking fresh bread and pastries every day. She focused on high-quality yet affordable products with unique flavors. Her dedication paid off, and soon, her delicious treats gained success. She attended various entrepreneurial and managerial seminars conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry such as the Food Safety Seminars and also been a beneficiary of the LSP-NSB Livelihood kits. Ms. Rizzy has also been a beneficiary of the Negosyo Centers’ free packaging and labeling programs for MSMEs providing her logo and labels.
Her success was driven by her unwavering passion and persistence, which remained strong despite the numerous challenges she encountered. Her commitment to achieving her goals was a key factor in her success.
Today, Cakes by Rizzy stands as a shining example of how passion and hard work can create something special turning her dream into a sweet and flourished reality.
