Bayan Academy and Facebook successfully launched the ABC to Financial Inclusion Program on May 4, 2021, with support from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and major microfinance institutions in the Philippines. To date, the series of financial inclusion training was able to reach 3,407 MSMEs all over the country.
As a way to continuously collaborate with BSP and DTI in providing financial education in the country, Bayan Academy is launching SheMeansBusiness Business Resiliency through Financial Education (BRFE) #UsapangNegosyoAtPinansyal Webinar Series.
SheMeansBusiness Business Resiliency through Financial Education (BRFE) Program is a financial education program that aims to help MSMEs sustain their businesses by strengthening their financial management skills, which also provides knowledge on business financing and how to access capital from government and financial services providers alike.
The key partners of SheMeansBusiness Business Resiliency through Financial Education (BRFE) #UsapangNegosyoAtPinansyal Webinar Series include Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), which is the main governing body in financial education and financial inclusion in the Philippines. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is tasked as the main economic catalyst that enables innovative, competitive, job-generating, inclusive businesses, and empowers consumers. DTI has been providing direct capacity-building programs and services to MSMEs.
The program will conduct 10 Webinar Series on Business Resiliency through Financial Education entitled “#UsapangNegosyoAtPinansyal” of Bayan Academy, BSP, and DTI supported by Facebook which will be delivered for 10 consecutive Fridays/ weekly sessions.
