Oil Palm Nursery
The availability of quality planting materials is a major factor affecting the success of oil palm plantations, thus the need for more oil palm nurseries that will provide quality oil palm seedings to supply the needs of farmers who are interested to venture into oil palm production. Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the reddish pulp of the fruit of the oil palm. It is used to make soaps, cosmetic products, biofuel, and lubricating grease. Palm kernel oil from its seeds is used in manufacturing such edible products as margarine, ice cream, chocolate confection, cookie, and bread, as well as many pharmaceuticals. It is also used as an ornamental plant in many subtropical areas.
