Arabica Coffee Farming Production
As of the latest data, the Philippines has a total of 19,300 hectares devoted to the production of Arabica coffee. Almost half of the areas are located in SOCCSKSARGEN Region with 8,200 hectares, mostly in the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato.
The country's per capita consumption per capita is at 0.26 kilograms and is projected to increase further with the growth in demand. There is thus a need to expand existing coffee production areas to cater to the market gap, making Arabica Farming nursery establishment a business with lots of potential.
